Marta Shocket, PhD

Headshot of Marta Shocket

I’m a disease ecologist interested in how the environment shapes patterns of infectious disease across spatial and temporal scales.

I’m currently an affiliated scientist in the QDEC Lab led by Sadie Ryan at the University of Florida and an adjunct faculty member for the Citizen Science program at Bard College. I earned my PhD with Spencer Hall at Indiana University and completed two postdoctoral appointments, first with Erin Mordecai at Stanford University and then with Van Savage at UCLA.
